Tahlaia is a hard character to pin down, there are two sides to her that often fight to break free from the small woman, inside she's dying to find people who will accept her for who and what she is, and will embrace her without fear of her heritage or how she looks, this side to her trusts and believes in those she deems worthy, once she trusts you she is most likely to become emotionally attached to you and will likely have some sort of minor abandonment issues should said friend suddenly leave, if not she's likely to be by your side when you need her and forever faithful to you as a trusted friend.
And yet this side of her person rarely comes to light, instead it is covered by a colder Tahlaia, who is at first a little hard to handle, she is distrustful of those she does not know and takes a while to warm to anybody. She has never yet found anybody she believes to be worthy of telling her story too, the real, truthful story of her life so far. She tends to mix truth with lie about her history, about her race, she feels like it keeps her safe rather than denies people the truth. This side to Tahlaia is the survival side to her, she can stick up for herself verbally, as well as in a brawl, and refuses to let anybody command her like they own her.
All in all, Tahlaia has seen a lot of bad in a lot of people to make her the way she is, and yet some small part of her soul still believes there are good people out there that are worthy of her loyalty and companionship, if only she can find them.
Friends ;
It is harder to get close to Tahlaia than most, she takes a little work to really warm up to you, but be respectful and she will do the same, eventually she might even begin to open up to you because inside she's a girl that's never had friends, she doesn't really know how much she needs them, and how much she wants them.
Enemies ;
Disrespect Tahlaia, insult her or do something which might be considered threatening to her and you will be in her bad books, she can be highly strung and hard headed at times, making it hard to see reason. Threatening what friends she may acquire or the very few people she considers family is one sure way of staying on her mortal enemy list forever.
Romance ;
Tahl has never been romantically involved with somebody, it's a subject which she is rather unfamiliar and quite shy about. If she where to get attached to somebody, she would probably keep it all bottled up in order to not potentially ruin the relationship they already have.

Gilrien is a joyful elf who tries to make the best of situations, like her father she wants her kin to be happy and safe and believes that her father is the only person that can do that, he has done since before she was born after all. She has a calm exterior and is able to keep her head in heated situations, a trait of her mothers, not her fathers. She is also trustworthy and quite trusting of those she believes she knows such as her kin living with her in Mirkwood and other non-hostile elves.
Although she is trusting, Gilrien is not naïve, she understands the rules that her father puts in place regarding strangers to Mirkwood and she is vigilant when any travel to their lands. She is however a little unknowing of the rest of the world, she has never left Mirkwood and while being educated about places such as Rivendell, Erebor and Rohan she has never visited them and experienced them first hand making her somewhat uneducated.
Friends ;
Gilrien is currently living in Mirkwood, of course Mirkwood is cornered off from the rest of the world therefore it would be harder for Gilrien to make friends outside of that area. Therefore most friends would be Wood Elves who live their with her, however she is a calm and friendly elf who has no problem making friends and if you like nature and animals you will be best friends with the little she-elf.
Enemies ;
Outsiders to Mirkwood need be wary, while Gilrien is friendly and trusting she is not stupid, she is slightly uneasy around newcomers and you need to earn her trust. Disrespect her, her family or her animals and you wont be on her good list.
Romance ;
Gilrien has never been in a romantic relationship before, however she feels as though it may be time to reach out and find a person she could perhaps spend the rest of her life with. It would no doubt be an Elf from Mirkwood, however this lover needs to be able to handle the wrath and protectiveness of her father, King of Mirkwood, Thranduil.
