The archery range seems to be an exception to the general buzz of the tourney grounds, an air concentration covering everything in silence.
An archer steps up to take up his position. The silence seems to thicken, tension and expectation silencing even the most obstinate of whisperers. The crowd watches, eagle eyed and critical as the archer notches an arrow and takes aim. Everything depends on this.
Utter silence. The crowd holds it's breath, the archer breathes out.
The arrow flies through the air.
With a thud the arrow hits the target.
