Neither wants to make the first move lest it be the wrong one and they lose themselves the fight. Instead they circle each other like dogs, snarling and eyeing the other up, trying to find the weaknesses, the strengths, the blind spot. Finally one gives in to the pressure and rushes forward with a cry, sword held high and ready to strike. Sparks fly as the two swords meet and what follows is a delicate dance of skill, speed, agility, and strength. The men are equally matched but, finally one missteps, he leaves himself open to attack and the other strikes like a snake.
