Lothriel was silent while her sister shared her dream of traveling. She knew it was much to ask, yet a deep longing stirred in the fair elven maiden. She would leave this moment, if only she could, but it was both foolish and irresponsible to think in such a way. What would their parents think, or their friends? The other elves, and their jobs. They were needed, and if they were to both leave? No, it would be a disaster, and either they would be brought back and punished, forbidden to leave again, or worse, exiled and forbidden to return! Yet Lothriel couldn't deny the thrill that raced along her spine at the thought, if only... ...we had time Edlothia finished her thought.
With that Lothriel noticed the change in her sister as she set about the things she needed to prepare the tea. She moved toward the kitchen area and set a pan over a small flame, then poured in the water. She placed the herbs to the side, along with two clay tea cups. She turned to her sister again, her eyes still showing signs of joy. She loved her sister dearly, and was happy that they could once again joke around. It had been long since she had been this happy, and although it wasn't often, she was glad she could let herself enjoy life once more. Yet she could still feel Edlothia was hiding something. She had seemed worried as they spoke of their parents being away. There was something her sister wasn't telling her, but she knew asking wouldn't help, if Edlothia was hiding something, she had to have a reason. It will only be a few more minutes. She said, turning back to remove the water from the flame, and pouring it into the cups. She blew out the flame, then returned the pot to where it had set. She checked that the water was the right temperature, then added the herbs. Here you go, drink it slowly. It will settle your stomach. She said, handing a cup to Edlothia.
((OOC: I'm doing much better lately, thank you. It's good to hear you are doing well ^.^))
