 Edoras is the capital city of Rohan. The city of Edoras is built on a hill in a valley of the White Mountains. Edoras is the closest thing Rohan has to a city, and holds the Golden Hall of Meduseld.

Aldburg

 Aldburg was one of the oldest settlements in Rohan. It was recorded to have been built by Eorl some miles to the southeast of Edoras. Though the capital is now Edoras, Aldburg remained a seat of noblemen and an important city.

 Fangorn forest is a forest known for being the last habitation of the Ents. It was named after the oldest Ent, Fangorn (Treebeard). It is also called Entwood by the Rohirrim.

Ered Nimrais

 The White Mountains or Ered Nimrais was a mountain range in Middle-earth. The Paths of the Dead passed under it, but only the most courageous (or foolhardy) ever ventured that route.

 Helm's Deep (also known as the Deeping Coomb) was a large valley in the north-western Ered Nimrais. Here lies the fortress of Aglarond or the Hornburg, at the entrance to the Glittering Caves which is used as a refuge by the Rohirrim people.
