The lovely Gilrien, youngest daughter of King Thranduil of Mirkwood has reached the age where she would quite like to spend the rest of her years by somebodies side. I do not have many specific specifications for this person except the following;

- Must be male.

- More likely to be Elf than any other Race.

- If Elf, must be close-ish to her age (2,000 - 2,500)

- Personality needs to fit with Gilrien.

I really don't have much I specifically want from this character so they can be entirely of your own creation, if you'd like to plan / plot / as questions feel free to leave  a comment or PM me

Hello! I'm considering this role, as there's an elf I want to play but could easily fit in this Wanted Ad, but I've got a few questions first.

1) Does the Elf have to be from Mirkwood? Would Lothlorien be fine?
2) Do they have to have met before this, or no?
3) What kind of personality would 'fit' with Gilrien? My elf is shy, a bit awkward and formal, doesn't quite know how to talk around pretty elven girls that aren't family members... Would that work, or not so much?
4) Is Feng Shao Feng an acceptable Face Claim? - [x]

Hey,

The Elf does not HAVE to be from Mirkwood, but Gilrien is a very homely Elf and has never left the confines of her home before therefore it would perhaps make more sense but is not 100% necessary.
Again not necessary to have met.
All I can say to that is that they'd have to play it out ICly and see? Because right now I can't really tell a I haven't Rped with the character and gotten a feel for them.
I don't mind the FC.

Oh, I was definitely planning my elf - Aranel - to come to her, rather than the other way around! His sister is an ambassador of sorts, serving under Lady Galadriel, and so he would go with her. Would that be cool?

As for the rest, hm! I'm most likely making him - I've put way too much thought into him to not write him out, at this point - so when I finish whipping him up and post him, we can do a thread? Figuring out how they interact and the like sounds like the best plan, I agree.
