INFORMATION
So the Tourney is a massive interracial event in Middle Earth in which all characters can join in! But just to avoid confusion and so you can get the best out of this event, here's the information you need to find your way around the event!
ROLEPLAYING
You can join any thread set up in any of the boards and mix with any characters! If someone you're interacting with is taking time to reply, please do not move on without their consent until you have waited a minimum of 36 hours before you move away.
Try and keep private RPs to a minimum as this is something for everyone to have with together but if you wish to have a private RP, PM me and I'll set something up!
We also have an IC Chat which you can all play on and send quick fire, silly messages to one another in character.
MINI-EVENTS
At times I will post as Varda on some of the threads. These will be NPCs that I control and that are just there to fire up mini-events and make things more interesting! Be careful though, you cannot ignore what an NPC says if something happens to you!
COMPETITIONS
And last but not least are our highlight of this event: The Competitions! You can still enlist until the 6th February! (Exceptions may be made to that rule if there are a lack of entrants).
Posts in this section have a maximum word limit of 500.
Dates for the rounds will be put up and all posts for competitors must be posted in that time limit or face elimination from the competition. As well as each other, there will also be other NPCs entered to make things more interesting!
Deciding who wins is based off a dice roll from 1 - 100. However bonus points can be earned if you do any of the following:
- Submit artwork for the tourney (pieces of poetry, prose, drawings, sketches, graphics, even knitting!)
- You can spend an extra +1 for every 10 RP posts you put up!
- Good grammar and spelling in your reply can earn you +2 points
- Good use of descriptive language can earn you up to +2 points
- Imaginative and original replies can earn you up to + 1 point
- Bonuses are also awarded from the purchase of items at our exclusive market!
